About
Highway67 is an online music magazine based in Dundalk Co Louth. The Magazine acts as a hub for all things related to local music. Our main focus is to promote local original acts through various media such as music videos, articles and reviews, audio interviews and gig photographs.
Highway67 has also expanded into radio with a weekly slot every Friday on Dundalk FM airing the latest recorded music by local acts. The magazine also runs a bi-monthly series of gigs showcasing bands and artists which has become extremely successful reaching a pinnacle with the Dundalk Music Awards run and organised by Highway67 Events department.

- help promote local acts to the greater music industry
- showcasing artists, giving them an opportunity to play gigs in Dundalk/Dublin/Belfast/Cork
- help in the development of young up and coming bands by giving them gigs, elevating their profile to the local community, providing them with gig photography and advice in general.
- Encourage bands to work together and support each other in the pursuit of furthering their music further afield through supports, collaboration and ideas.
- By helping provide video, photographs, interviews for Bands to utilise as they see fit.
- Generally support bands when they promote their gigs, sell their music and connect with their fans.
- Give music fans as much information about the Dundalk music scene via regular updates, news, gig guide and newsletters.
- Encourage aspiring journalists and photographers by giving them a recognised media entity to contribute to.
- Bring the Dundalk music scene on par with other more supported artistic endeavours.
- To create a community around the rich musical environment that is unique to Dundalk and provide a forum where fans and bands a like can develop the music scene further.

Events:
Highway67 hosts a series of gigs showcasing all local acts to a captive audience. H67 also stage underage gigs providing young, up and coming bands the opportunity to play in a professional venue gaining invaluable experience for live performances.
Every October Highway host the Dundalk Music Awards which celebrates the Dundalk Music Scene in an awards ceremony which has become the most anticipated event in Co Louth.
Radio:
The First Cut on Dundalk Fm 100 is a local music show that airs every Friday between 6 and 7pm playing a comprehensive list of songs by local artists. The Show also hosts interviews with local musicians and breaks new young talent on air.
